A Toad Interlude

Thought I would post what I have been doing while not posting. I am trying to prepare for two pottery sales. And though, Mommie and Daddy gave me the perfectly lovely, middle name of "Annette"- I have changed it to 'The Procrastinator'. So, I'm potting and glazing and firing right now, trying to make up for wasted time. All the time chanting to myself "don't do this again, don't do this again". This is a close-up of one of my stoneware functional froggie bowls. I'll post more pics to show the kiln opening, it's like Christmas to a potter, just without the wrapping and ribbon carnage.

Thank you. I'm hoping to get a website set up and/or sell on eBay.

You should try to do both, altho I have talked with some ebay sellers, who also have their own websites, who have said ebay is definitely the best place to be.

What a beautiful bowl - love the frog - I really liked your hummer picture too - we fed them two years ago & they got really comfortable with me being close to the feeder so I got some fun pitures. I think between myself and the neighbor we went thru over 25# of sugar easily. :-)

In the NW we go from the hummingbird channel to the Geese flying south channel - our house seems to be on their flyway - hundreds will go over every day.

I love listening to geese fly over. One Autumn night I was about to go up the stairs and I heard this repetitive, almost scary noise. What's that? I stopped and discovered it was coming from above me in the sky, a flight was going over. It was wonderful to stand in the crisp air and be serenaded. An audible lovenote from the Father.

Wow, what a lovely piece. The frog is so sweet.

I'm working on some homework right now and surfed over to Can I Have Cheezeburger? to recharge my batteries... saw your furkids linked there and I've been perusing your blog ever since. Must return to the grind but I've enjoyed your writing and pics immensely.
